On April 2, 2020, at the Ha Tinh Department of Health, Harumi Investment and Development Joint Stock Company (Harumi) donated 10,000 four-layer antibacterial medical masks, 1,000 sets of medical protective suits, and 1,000 specialized N95 masks. The event was attended by leaders of the Ha Tinh Department of Health, leaders of Nghi Xuan District General Hospital, and representatives of Harumi.
A representative of Harumi stated that, given the complex developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, people across the country in general, and Ha Tinh residents in particular, all need protection for their health — especially the medical staff, who are directly exposed and engaged in diagnosing and treating patients with confirmed or suspected infections. More than anyone, they are at high risk of infection from patients. Nevertheless, overcoming these potential dangers, doctors and nurses continue to fight day and night on a “silent battlefield” — where the thin line between danger and safety is only separated by protective suits and fragile medical masks. Meanwhile, the shortage of quality medical masks remains an urgent issue, significantly impacting disease prevention efforts.
The Harumi representative also expressed profound admiration and gratitude to the medical staff: “This is a small gift that our company wishes to share with the provincial health sector, hoping the doctors and nurses will continue to be resilient and defeat the virus,” while calling on other businesses to join hands and contribute efforts to overcome this challenging period.
On behalf of the province’s medical staff, the leadership of the Ha Tinh Department of Health expressed thanks to the businesses and media agencies who have always supported and accompanied the “white-coat soldiers” of Ha Tinh on the front lines of fighting the pandemic. The department’s leaders also conveyed the message: “The greatest support the people can give to our medical staff right now is to limit going out unnecessarily and strictly follow the guidelines of the Ministry of Health.”
